What is the Walk route?
We are in the process of finalizing our route with the city of Toronto. We can tell you that the Walk will be about 5K, and will include the AIDS Memorial in Barbara Hall Park. It’s likely we will be walking down Church St, across College, through Queen's Park and back to Barbara Hall Park.
I registered in previous years. Do I have to re-enter my information?
You’ll need to register for the 2017 event. Since you signed up last year you will have a username and password – think of it as an express registration.
Once you've chosen to register as an individual here, and you've accepted the Legal Waiver, you will be able to click the "Returning Participant" button at the top of the page.
I won’t be in town for the event. Can I still make a donation?
Thank you so much for your support! To make a donation, please visit aidswalktoronto.ca, and choose how you would like to make your donation. You’ll be redirected to the AIDS Walk fundraising website, and you’ll be able to make a donation from there.
Also consider participating in a virtual walk. You can fundraise for the AIDS Walk as usual, but organize your own walk, whether on a different day, or at a different location.
How do I get a Tax Receipt?
All online donations receive an instant tax receipt via email. Donations of $20 or more received on the day of the event will be tax receipted after the Walk. You should receive your tax receipt in by November.
How can I get information about volunteering?
That’s great! Please get in touch with Nicole Malatesta, who manages the Walk volunteers. Nicole’s email is firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can call Nicole at 416-340-8484 ext 238.
